About TOKIO ART BOOK FAIR
TOKIO ART BOOK FAIR（トキオアートブックフェア）は、TOKYO ART BOOK FAIR（TABF）が企画する、アートブック出版におけるネットワークを軸として構成されるフェアです。
これまでと異なる出展の形式や、コンパクトな規模ならではの取り組みを実施し、国内外のインディペンデント出版シーンや、参加者同士の交流をより活性化することを目指します。
本フェアにおいては、公募形式ではなく、招待制による出展形式が採用されています。TABFに出展経験のある16組がホスト出展者として選出され、それぞれのホスト出展者が2組のゲスト出展者を推薦し、招待します。
TOKIO ART BOOK FAIR is a fair organised by TOKYO ART BOOK FAIR, built around networks in art book publishing.
Unlike TABF’s usual open-call format, this fair uses an invitation-based format. Through projects made possible by its compact scale, it aims to encourage more exchange among participants and bring more energy to the independent publishing scene in Japan and abroad.
Sixteen exhibitors who have previously exhibited at TABF are selected by the organising team as host exhibitors, and each host exhibitor recommends and invites two guest exhibitors.
出展形式について
1. TABFに出展経験のある16組を、運営チームがホスト出展者として選出。
2. ホスト出展者が、ゲスト出展者2組を推薦。
推薦条件：
a. ご自身の友人、または知人であること
b. 出版活動を行っており、出版物を中心に出展できること
c. 2組のうち最低1組は、過去にTABF出展経験がないこと
出展者それぞれの観点から推薦してもらうことで、国境を越えたネットワークや、ローカルな交友関係によって参加者が広がります。それぞれの出版活動がもつ独自の文脈や関係性を通して、新たな視点からアートブック出版の多様さを知る機会となることを期待します。
About the Exhibitor Format
1. The organising team selects 16 exhibitors who have previously participated in TABF as Host Exhibitors
2. Each Host Exhibitor recommends two exhibitors as Guest Exhibitors.
Conditions for Recommendation:
・They must be a friend or acquaintance of the host exhibitor.
・They must be involved in publishing activities and be able to exhibit mainly publications.
・At least one of the two guest exhibitors must not have exhibited at TABF before.
A distinctive feature of this fair is that participants are brought together through the international and local connections of each publishing practice, allowing different contexts and relationships to cross in one place.
