BIKOとKENNYは東京とバンクーバーを拠点に、教育、絵画、素描、陶芸、彫刻、リソグラフィー、シルクスクリーン、メディアアート、ジン、コラージュ、インスタレーション、ソーシャルアート、など多様な表現ツールを用いて社会を取り巻く問題を発信し続ける新人若者アーティストである。そして、現代社会に疑問を持たせる作品を作っている。さらに、二人は多文化な環境で暮らしているため、人種、宗教、ジェンダー、からだの多様性に関心をもった作品を生み出している。
Based in Tokyo and Vancouver, BIKO and KENNY are emerging artists whose work explores social issues through various artistic mediums, including education, painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, risograph printing, silkscreen, media art, zines, collage, installation, and social art. Their work invites viewers to critically engage with contemporary society, often reflecting on themes of race, religion, gender, and body diversity, influenced by their multicultural surroundings.

BIKO&KENNYは小学生の頃からストリートカルチャーに興味を持ち、インターナショナルスクールで出会った仲間達と一緒に制作活動をしてきました。
彼らの制作活動は、ペインティング、映像、写真、音楽、スケートボード、BMX、ファッションまで多岐に渡ります。社会問題への意識も高くストリートカルチャーの手法(ZINEやグラフィティなど)を用いて常に発信をしています。インターネットやSNSが発達しすぎた現代でしか生まれないであろう新しいアーティスト達だと思っています。
Since childhood, BIKO & KENNY have been engaged in street culture, creating works together with fellow artists they met at international school.
Their work spans various mediums, from painting, film, and photography to skateboard, BMX, and fashion. With a strong awareness of social issues, they are constantly expressing themselves through the techniques of street culture such as zines and graffiti. They are a new kind of artists who could only emerge in today’s world, where the internet and SNS have advanced to an excessive degree.
