  出会った当時、僕はCHILL!を紹介する立場だった。A5でテイクフリー。写真とドローイングでできていて、好きなものが真っ直ぐ伝わってきた。いつだったか彼らがBIGFOOT共作したことがあった。いつものモノクロじゃなくオレンジのカバーだった。スペシャルなやつなんだ！と、手渡しに来たときとても嬉しそうにしていたのを覚えてる。
  あの日から13,4年経つのかな。今回このTokio Art Book Fairのためにスペシャルを作ってくれた。
  「何かやるなら友達のためにやろう」
  あの頃のAaron Roseより年上になっても、キッズなんだ彼らは。ずっとそれを信じてる。

  When we first met, I was in a place where I was introducing CHILL!. It was A5 sized and free to take. It was made up of photos and drawings, and conveyed very directly the things they liked. One time they collaborated with BIGFOOT. It wasn’t monochrome like usual – it had an orange cover. I remember them going – It’s a special one! – as they happily handed it over to me.
  I think it’s going to be around 13 or 14 years since that day. They made something special for this Tokio Art Book Fair.
  “If we are going to do something, let’s do it for our friends.”
  Even though they are older than Aaron Rose was back then, they are still kids. We’ve always believed that.

  自分達のことを語らない人たち。どこからどこまでが彼らなのか、正直わからない。あっという間にできあがる、身軽な印刷物。制作物は一枚の紙作品も作品集も、空気をたっぷり含んで飛んでいるように感じます。本や服、展示や場所までも、作ってはすぐに手放すような不思議な人たちです。

  They don’t talk about themselves. Where they begin and where they end – I actually don’t know. In an instant, a light and easy printed matter is created. Their creations, whether they are a piece of paper or a collation of their work, all feel like they’ve been filled with air and flying all around. They are strange people who make things – books and clothes, even exhibitions and spaces – and quickly let them go.
