グラフィックデザイナー松田洋和とイラストレーター田渕正敏のユニット。2011年から主にアートブック制作を中心に活動をしている他、2023年から拠点東京・調布エリアで本を紹介するイベント「へきちの本棚」を月一で開催中。
Hekichi is a duo comprising graphic designer Hirokazu Matsuda and illustrator Masatoshi Tabuchi, primarily focused on creating art books since 2011. Since 2023, they have been hosting a monthly book event, “Hekichi no Hondana (Hekichi’s Bookshelf)”, in the area of Chofu, Tokyo.

へきちはイラストレーターの田淵正敏さんとグラフィックデザイナーの松田洋和さんによるアートユニットです。アートワークから印刷、製本まですべて手作りで行なっている作品も多く、本作りに対する熱量と遊び心に驚かされます。ワークショップをよく開催していることやDIY精神にも共感します。現在制作中のMiki Kimさんのリソグラフ作品集は松田さんのブックデザインで、Tokio Art Book Fairでお披露目します。
Hekichi is an art duo consisting of illustrator Masatoshi Tabuchi and graphic designer Hirokazu Matsuda. Many of their works are entirely handcrafted, from artwork creation to printing and binding. We are impressed by their enthusiasm for bookmaking and playful spirit. Their commitment to hosting workshops and their DIY mindset also resonate with us. Miki Kim’s risograph art book that we are currently producing is designed by Matsuda and will be released at the Tokio Art book fair.
