石川県金沢市に拠点を置くIACKは、2017年に写真家の河野幸人のアトリエとして設立。その後「開かれた書斎」というコンセプトのもと、週末にだけオープンするブックショップ＆ギャラリーとして一般開放を開始しました。 独立系出版者から大手出版社まで、現代写真を中心とした世界各国の作品集を取り扱うほか、ギャラリーとしてさまざまな企画展を行っています。
Founded in Kanazawa, Ishikawa, IACK originally served as the atelier of photographer Yukihito Kono in 2017. Embracing the concept of an “open study room”, the atelier later transformed into a bookshop and gallery, opening its doors to the public on weekends. With a focus on contemporary photography books, the bookshop offers an international selection, ranging from titles by independent publishers to those released by major publishing houses, while the gallery presents a diverse program of exhibitions.

IACKは、友人である河野幸人によって運営されています。私たちは2014年にロンドンのLCCで開催された彼の展覧会「244」を見たことがきっかけで出会いました。彼もまた、私たちと同じように手作業で多くの本を作っており、その丁寧で洗練されたものづくりにはいつも感銘を受けています。日本に帰国後、彼はIACKを立ち上げ、私たちもその精選されたキュレーションに常に注目しています。2023年後半には、彼の作品シリーズ『The Cliff』を出版しました。
IACK is run by our friend Yukihito Kono. We first met Yuki in 2014 after seeing his exhibtion '244' which was held at LCC London. Like us, Yuki made a lot of his books by hand, the work and craft that went into making his books was thoughtful, elegant and beautiful. Since moving back to Japan Yuki set up IACK which we always follow with interest due to it's considered curation. In late 2023 we published a series of work by Yuki titled 'The Cliff'.
