nos:booksは、アーティスト ソン・ニ（Son Ni）によって2008年に台北で設立されたインディペンデント出版社であり、2014年からは香港のアーティスト チホイ（Chihoi）が参加している。アーティストのアイデアやコンセプトを独自の書籍の形式として実現することを目指している。台湾および海外のアーティストによる限定版の書籍を刊行し、しばしばその創作のあまり知られていない側面に光を当てている。2020年後半以降は、「nos:bookspace」と呼ばれる本に関するスペースの運営も行っている。
nos:books is an independent publisher founded by artist Son Ni in 2008 in Taipei, joined by Hong Kong artist Chihoi since 2014. We strive to realize artists’ ideas and concepts in unique book forms. Our books are limited edition works by artists from Taiwan and abroad, often highlighting the artists' lesser known part of their creations. Since late 2020, we also run a space about books called nos:bookspace.

Fotobook DUMMIES Dayは、2018年よりアートブック、イメージ、セルフパブリッシングに焦点を当てて活動するキュラトリアル・プラットフォームである。これらのメディウムを基盤として、展覧会、出版物、パブリック・プログラムの実験を行っている。2019年には東南アジアにおける大規模なフィールドリサーチ・プロジェクトを開始し、その成果として『Tropical Reading: Photobook and Self-Publishing』の第2版を刊行した。このプロジェクトは現在も継続中である。また、台湾・台北では同名のアートブックフェアも不定期に開催しており、アート出版に関わるコミュニティを一堂に集めている。
Fotobook DUMMIES Day is a curatorial platform focusing on art books, images, and self-publishing since 2018. We experiment with these mediums as a basis for exhibitions, publications, and public programmes. In 2019, we began an extensive field research project in Southeast Asia and have since released a second edition of Tropical Reading: Photobook and Self-Publishing. The project is ongoing. We also run an occasional art book fair under the same name in Taipei, Taiwan, bringing together the art publishing community under one roof.

Our trusted friend Junye organizes the best book fair “Fotobook Dummies Day” in Taipei. Gloria Glitzerは、フランツィスカ・ブラント（Franziska Brandt）とモーリッツ・グリュンケ（Moritz Grünke）によるアバターであり、出版実践である。「we make it is」はベルリンにあるリソグラフのスペースであり、出版社でもある。これら二つのプロジェクトを通して、インディペンデントなセルフパブリッシングの境界に挑戦している。私たちは、自己表現、可視性、アクセスのしやすさ、そしてアート、政治、情報の急進的な民主化を掲げ、共有されたツールと協働のプロセスを通してそれを実践している。
Gloria Glitzer is the avatar and publishing practice of Franziska Brandt & Moritz Grünke. we make it is our Risography space in Berlin and a publisher too. With both projects we challenge the boundaries of independent self-publishing. We stand for self-expression, visibility, accessibility, and the radical democratization of art, politics, and information; through shared tools and collaborative processes.

2014年にニューヨークでモーリッツ（Moritz）とフランツィスカ（Franziska）に出会って以来、私たちは各地のブックフェアで顔を合わせてきました。彼らの本は、他のアーティストについての考察を軸とし、敬愛する作家たちへのオマージュが込められています。軽やかな印象を持ちながらも、そこには深い人間的なつながりが表現されており、物事の本質にやさしく触れています。ベルリンのMiss Readの元創設メンバーでもあるモーリッツは、エッセイ『The Future of Art Book Festivals - Formerly known as Fairs』の中で、アートブックフェスティバルの未来について独自の洞察を示しています。
Since we first met Moritz and Franziska in New York in 2014, we hang out in different book fairs here and there. Their books often focus on their reflections on other artists, paying tribute to the artists they admire. Their books, despite having a light-weight outlook, express a deep human connection, and give a tender touch on the essence of things. Former founding member at Miss Read Berlin, Moritz gives special insights in his essay “The Future of Art Book Festivals - Formerly known as Fairs”.

New High Landは、2026年に始動した出版プロジェクトである。過去2年間の出版物を一つの枠組みのもとに再編するために立ち上げられると同時に、新たな出版活動を始動させることを目的としている。過去10年のあいだに、NosbooksやMakan Pressなど他の出版社から多くの書籍を刊行してきたが、2024年より自らリソグラフ印刷による書籍制作を開始した。2026年には初のオフセット印刷による書籍の刊行に取り組みつつ、リソグラフによる紙作品の制作も継続している。台湾を拠点とする出版体であり、コミック、アートブック、写真集などを手がけ、その多くのタイトルは台湾の政治や伝統文化からユーモラスかつ風刺的な着想を得ている。
New High Land launched in 2026, first as a way to regroup our last 2 years publications under one banner, but also to kickstart our new publishing ambitions. We have many books published by othter publishers (Nosbooks, Makan Press, ...) in the past decade, and we started printing our own Riso books since 2024. In 2026, we are moving forward to publishing our 1st offset titles and continue with making paperworks in Riso. We are a publication from Taiwan, including comics, art and photo books, and most of our titles draw playful and tangy inspiration from Taiwan's political and traditional culture.

Hai Hsin and Luc are our very dear friends, multi-talented and diligent. We’ve been working with them closely in many of our publications since early years. We share a lot of good times and inspirations; we owe them a lot for their happy energy. Now they start the new publishing house New High Land, we’re very excited and looking forward to the synergy that they make books together as a unit.

nos:books is one of the pioneers in Taipei’s art publishing landscape. We have always admired how they approach books as a creative format and an expansive concept from the outset. Their ability to see the book as a medium for art continues to inspire us. We also live in the same area; nos:bookspace is an ideal space for art book nerds.

We met nos:books more than 12 years ago at an art book fair, and it has since grown into a deeply meaningful friendship, one that perfectly captures the spirit of these events. It’s about moments of solidarity: looking after each other’s work, sharing snacks and drinks, but also connecting through shared attitudes and ideas around self-publishing, while supporting one another with resources. We feel a strong connection to nos:books and their work, and we’re truly grateful to know Son and Chihoi.

We first met nos:books in 2012 when they invited me to collaborate on my very first book. This partnership opened my eyes to the expansive possibilities of art publishing, transforming how I share my paintings and drawings. Beyond their exceptional craftsmanship, Nosbooks constantly challenges the definition of a "book" with a signature sense of humor. They bridge the gap between humanity and art, acting as essential mentors in the world of self-publishing.
