幼少期より父親に東北の原生林を連れ回され育つ。水彩画、デジタルイラスト、粘土作品、小冊子、音楽など形式を問わず制作。近年は、この世を構成する要素の膨大さへの畏怖/細部へのまなざしを主題に、複雑なものを複雑なまま捉える挑戦をしている。
Since childhood, my father often took me to the primeval forests of the Tohoku region. I work across various mediums, including watercolor drawings, digital illustrations, clay works, booklets, and music. In recent years, my focus has been on exploring both the awe-inspiring vastness of the elements that shape the world and the details within them, seeking to grasp complexity as it is.

しわしわ (“shiwashiwa”) is a multidisciplinary artist working with a wide range of medium: from digital drawing to oil painting, “iphone photography” to ceramic sculpture & music. Distinctly active in composing, her minimalistic songs made in GarageBand describe the world similarly to a diary. In this same spirit, she publishes zines and comics with others or herself, which can be described as a hybrid between comics and artist books. Her generous creativity is a singularity in the publishing scene.
