台湾・ドイツ・日本を拠点に活動する5名の実践者が集い、Collaborative Publishing（協働による出版）について話し合います。登壇者には、台湾で出版プロジェクト「Fotobook DUMMIES Day」を主宰する林俊業（Lin Junye）、ベルリンのアートブックフェア「MISS READ」（2015–2022年）の共同企画に携わり、出版プロジェクト「Gloria Glitzer」およびリソグラフ印刷スタジオ「we make it」を運営するモーリッツ・グリュンケ（Moritz Grünke）、雑誌出版社兼印刷スタジオ「NEUTRAL COLORS」のアートディレクターであり出版プロジェクト「明暗（Meian）」の主宰者である加納大輔、台湾を拠点に学際的な出版活動「dmp editions」を率いるシャウバ・チャン（Shauba Chang）、そしてインディペンデント出版社「nos:books」を運営するアーティストのソン・ニ（Son Ni）が参加します。
来場者からの質問は、「クエスチョンカード」で集めます。

Five practitioners based in Taiwan, Germany, and Japan come together to discuss collaborative publishing. Participants include Lin Junye, who organizes the publishing project Fotobook DUMMIES Day in Taiwan; Moritz Grünke, who was involved in co-organizing the Berlin art book fair MISS READ (2015–2022) and runs the publishing project Gloria Glitzer and the risograph publishing studio we make it; Daisuke Kano, art director of the magazine publisher and printing studio NEUTRAL COLORS and founder of the publishing project Meian; Shauba Chang, who leads dmp editions, a multidisciplinary publishing practice based in Taiwan; and Son Ni, an artist who runs the independent publisher nos:books.
Questions from the audience will also be collected using “question cards”.

    Gloria Glitzer is the avatar and publishing practice of Franziska Brandt & Moritz Grünke. we make it is our Risography space in Berlin and a publisher too. With both projects we challenge the boundaries of independent self-publishing. We stand for self-expression, visibility, accessibility, and the radical democratization of art, politics, and information; through shared tools and collaborative processes.

    dmp editionsは、台湾・台北を拠点とし、出版、コンテンツ編集、アーカイヴ、そして本づくりに関わるあらゆる領域において学際的なアプローチを実践する場である。主に台湾のアーティスト、作家、編集者、キュレーターと協働し、私たちの立つ場所から、本のページを通して新たな視点や思考のあり方を提示し、オルタナティブな物語の構築を試みている。

    dmp editions is a practicing field based in Taipei, Taiwan that involves a multidisciplinary approach to publishing, content editing, archiving and all things related to book-making. We work mainly with Taiwanese artists, writers, editors, and curators to offer new ways of seeing and thinking as well as developing alternative narratives portrayed through the pages of a book from where we stand.

    Fotobook DUMMIES Dayは、2018年よりアートブック、イメージ、セルフパブリッシングに焦点を当てて活動するキュラトリアル・プラットフォームである。これらのメディウムを基盤として、展覧会、出版物、パブリック・プログラムの実験を行っている。2019年には東南アジアにおける大規模なフィールドリサーチ・プロジェクトを開始し、その成果として『Tropical Reading: Photobook and Self-Publishing』の第2版を刊行した。このプロジェクトは現在も継続中である。また、台湾・台北では同名のアートブックフェアも不定期に開催しており、アート出版に関わるコミュニティを一堂に集めている。

    Fotobook DUMMIES Day is a curatorial platform focusing on art books, images, and self-publishing since 2018. We experiment with these mediums as a basis for exhibitions, publications, and public programmes. In 2019, we began an extensive field research project in Southeast Asia and have since released a second edition of Tropical Reading: Photobook and Self-Publishing. The project is ongoing. We also run an occasional art book fair under the same name in Taipei, Taiwan, bringing together the art publishing community under one roof.

    NEUTRAL COLORSとは、独立した出版社であり、発行する雑誌であり、印刷製本所の名前でもあります。3つは有機的につながります。NEUTRAL COLORSの出版スタイルは、少人数が集まって印刷、製本、流通までを一貫して行うもの。廃棄を前提とした大量商業印刷と少部数のインディペンデントの中間（雑誌で5000部／書籍やアートブックで300〜1000部ほど）、経済的に持続可能な中規模出版モデルを目指します。

    NEUTRAL COLORS is an independent publisher, the name of a magazine, and also the name of a printing and bookbinding studio. These three are organically connected. Our publishing style is to work in a small team and handle printing, bookbinding, and distribution ourselves. We aim for a mid-scale publishing model that sits between mass commercial printing based on disposal and small independent runs, with around 5,000 copies for magazines and 300 to 1,000 copies for books and art books, in a way that is economically sustainable.

    nos:booksは、アーティスト ソン・ニ（Son Ni）によって2008年に台北で設立されたインディペンデント出版社であり、2014年からは香港のアーティスト チホイ（Chihoi）が参加している。アーティストのアイデアやコンセプトを独自の書籍の形式として実現することを目指している。台湾および海外のアーティストによる限定版の書籍を刊行し、しばしばその創作のあまり知られていない側面に光を当てている。2020年後半以降は、「nos:bookspace」と呼ばれる本に関するスペースの運営も行っている。

    nos:books is an independent publisher founded by artist Son Ni in 2008 in Taipei, joined by Hong Kong artist Chihoi since 2014. We strive to realize artists’ ideas and concepts in unique book forms. Our books are limited edition works by artists from Taiwan and abroad, often highlighting the artists' lesser known part of their creations. Since late 2020, we also run a space about books called nos:bookspace.
