Ningen Paper Pressは、2021年に設立された出版プロジェクトである。好奇心を原動力に、さまざまな形式の出版物を企画、制作、流通している。出版という行為の限界を見つめ直し、それが最小単位においてどのようなものになり得るのかを実験している。装飾的な流行や制度的な枠組みに従うのではなく、自然で応答的な論理を重視している。
Ningen Paper Press is a publishing project founded in 2021. We plan, produce, and distribute publications in various forms, driven by curiosity. We reflect on the limitations of publishing and experiment with what it can become at its smallest scale. Rather than following decorative trends or institutional frameworks, we prefer a natural, responsive logic.

We got to know Ningen Paper Press from Korea through a curious connection. Their zines and works are full of a unique sense and humour, and we are happy to welcome them as a guest to TOKIO this time!

2024年に、ソウルのスペースBIRDCALLと共同で開催した DESK BOOK FAIR 2024 に、彼女を出展者として招いたことがあります。 そのときは来場型のフェアではなかったため、彼女の本だけを送ってもらいました。 その際に受け取った 『Touching Fish』 というzineがとても面白くて、思わずくすくす笑いながら読んだのを覚えています。 Boovfoさんとは以前からInstagramを通じて知り合い、互いの活動を興味深く見守ってきました。 こうしてご縁がつながり、TOKIOでまた会えることを嬉しく思っています。
In 2024, we invited her as an exhibitor to DESK BOOK FAIR 2024, which we co-organised with the Seoul-based space BIRDCALL. As it was not an in-person fair, she sent only her books. I remember reading a zine called “Touching Fish” that we received then, and quietly laughing to myself because it was so interesting. I had already known Boovfo through Instagram, and we had been following each other’s activities with interest. I am very happy that this connection has continued and that we can meet again at TOKIO.
