The Goodwiller は、2019年にアメリカで発足された斉藤思帆と田岡美紗子によるアートプロジェクトです。スリフトストアで購入した服のコレクションを元に撮影を行い、オリジナルタグを付け最後に元のお店に戻す（返品する）という行為を通して新たな価値観と中古品の流通サークルを創造します。今までにアメリカ(2019)、日本(2021)、フランス(2022/2023)、韓国(2024)、タイ(2025)で行ない、各プロジェクトのアーカイブブックを制作してきました。
The Goodwiller is an art project by Shiho Saito and Misako Taoka, started in the United States in 2019. We take photographs based on a collection of clothes bought at thrift stores, attach original tags, and then return them to the original shops. Through this act, we create new values and a circulation cycle for second-hand items. We have carried out this project in the United States (2019), Japan (2021), France (2022/2023), Korea (2024), and Thailand (2025), and have produced archive books for each project.

AYA YAMANAKAでは、タオルやカーテン、懐かしい柄の毛布、残布、着られなくなった衣類など、日常にある身近な素材から衣服や布製品をデザインし、制作しています。今回は、昨年開催したAya Yamanaka & hibi Tour「Platform」をまとめたアートブックや、毛布の一部を使って制作したブックカバーを発表します。
AYA YAMANAKA designs and make clothes and textile products using familiar materials from everyday life, such as towels, curtains, nostalgic patterned blankets, leftover fabric, and clothes that can no longer be worn. This time, I present an art book based on the Aya Yamanaka & hibi Tour “Platform” held last year, as well as book covers made using parts of blankets.

AYA YAMANAKAの服たちは、着てみると包まれるような安心感があります。その作られる過程が使われなくなった毛布やレースのカーテンを素材に作られていると聞いて、納得のぬくもり。一つ一つ違う柄や表情にときめきつつ、The Goodwillerは勝手にすごく親近感を感じています♡ブックカバーやイベント開催時のコンセプトブックなどの制作もあり、アートとファションの間のような振る舞いが素敵＆かわいいです。
AYA YAMANAKA’s clothes give a feeling of comfort, like being gently wrapped when you wear them. When we heard that they are made from materials like old blankets and lace curtains that are no longer used, the warmth made perfect sense. Each piece has a different pattern and expression, and while we feel excited by them, The Goodwiller also feels a strong sense of closeness to them♡ They also make book covers and concept books for events, and their way of moving between art and fashion is both lovely and cute.

ロビンエッグパイのペンネームで活動するシン・ドンチョル（Dongchul Sin）は、モノクロのドローイングや緻密なイラストレーションをもとに、アートブックや印刷プロジェクトに取り組んでいる。ベルリン、ソウル、東京、シンガポールなど各地のアートブックフェアに参加し、多様な観客と交流してきた。これまでにaespa、RIIZE、MUSINSA、ピザレストランIZZAとのコラボレーションによるイラストレーション制作を手がけている。現在は、パジュ・タイポグラフィ・インスティテュート（PaTI）および弘益大学でイラストレーションを教えている。
Dongchul Sin, active under the pen name Robineggpie, works on artbooks and print projects based on black-and-white drawings and detailed illustrations. He has participated in art book fairs in cities such as Berlin, Seoul, Tokyo, and Singapore, connecting with diverse audiences. His illustration work includes collaborations with aespa, RIIZE, MUSINSA, and the pizza restaurant IZZA. He currently teaches illustration at PaJU Typography Institute (PaTI) and Hongik University.

Robinさんは2024年のTABFと韓国のアートブックフェアUnlimited Edition のブースチェンジプログラムで一緒になり、初めて会ったときに自作のブタの着ぐるみを着ていました。それで真面目に本の解説をしてくれるので可笑しくて、作品も面白いし本人のキャラクターにも魅了されてしまいました。ブタやゴキ◯リのイラストレーションは一瞬ポップに見えますがよく見るとホラー味がありなんか怖いです。
We first met Robin through the booth exchange programme between TABF 2024 and the Korean art book fair Unlimited Edition, and at that time he was wearing a pig costume he had made himself. It was funny because he explained his books very seriously while wearing it, and we were drawn not only to his work but also to his personality. His illustrations of pigs and cockroaches may look pop at first glance, but when you look closer, they have a slightly horror-like quality that feels a bit unsettling.

ドローイングを起点に、シルクスクリーンやインクジェットプリントなどの複製印刷技術を用いて作品を制作。紙、セラミックなどを支持体に、版を介した工程を経て、描くという行為、デジタルとアナログ、時間や場所との関係を捉え直している。出版レーベル「pharmacy」としてアーティストブックの制作、出版活動も行う。
I create works starting from drawing, using reproduction printing techniques such as silkscreen and inkjet print. Using paper and ceramics as supports, and working through processes with plates, I reconsider the act of drawing, the relationship between digital and analogue, and time and place. I also produce and publish artist books under the publishing label “pharmacy.”

シルクスクリーンやさまざまな印刷技術を用いて作品制作をしていて、SHOKKIとのユニットPharmacyとしても活動している藤田さん。本の制作も精力的に行なっていますが、自身の展示作品をそのまま使ったアートブックやコピー用紙の束を包装ごと模した本(?)など、見たことのないアイデアが詰まっていて見ていて楽しいです。読む・ページを捲るといった本としての機能を一旦置いておいて感覚的に手に取り、見方を自分で探すような体験ができます。
Fujita creates works using silkscreen and various printing techniques, and is also active as the unit Pharmacy with SHOKKI. She is very active in making books, and her works are full of ideas we have never seen before, such as art books that directly use her exhibition works, or books that resemble a bundle of copy paper including its packaging. We find her works very enjoyable to look at. By setting aside the usual functions of a book, such as reading or turning pages, her works invite us to pick them up in a more intuitive way and find our own way of experiencing them.

室井悠輔 Yusuke Muroi

美術作家、蒐集家。2009年より、Myspaceなどのウェブ文化や、グラフィティから触発され表現活動を始める。大学在籍時にはアール・ブリュットとの関係性を問いながら制作し、卒業制作展では作品の一部として自作のスクラップブック40冊を展示。これを機に公募にジンを応募するも、切手不足で返送される出来事があり、ジンの制作から離れる。最近は「良い絵のためのドローイングは良いジンのためのドローイング」という発想や、iPhoneのストレージ整理をきっかけに、エディトリアルワークへの意欲が再燃している。
Artist and collector. I began my practice in 2009, inspired by web culture such as Myspace and graffiti. While at university, I created works while questioning my relationship with Art Brut, presenting forty handmade scrapbooks as part of my graduation exhibition. After that, I submitted a zine to an open call, but it was returned due to insufficient postage, which led me to step away from making zines. Recently, my interest in editorial work has returned, through the idea that “drawing for a good painting is drawing for a good zine,” as well as through organising the storage on my iPhone.

室井くんは絵画、立体作品、インスタレーションなど色々な形態の作品を作っていて、作品を見ていると大量の物量と思考の欠片に囲まれていつも目がチカチカして一点を見れなくなって、うわー！となります。展示タイトルなどのワードセンスもちょっと変わっていて作品との組み合わせが癖になります。今回は新たにzineなどを作るらしいのでとても楽しみです。
Muroi makes works in many forms, including painting, sculpture, and installation. When we look at his work, we feel surrounded by a huge amount of materials and fragments of thought, our eyes get overwhelmed, and we can’t focus on one point—it becomes a kind of “whoa” experience. His sense of wording, such as his exhibition titles, is also a bit unusual, and the combination with the works becomes addictive. We heard that he will be making new zines this time, so we are really looking forward to it.

I discovered The Goodwiller’s project and became a fan right away. Through the 2024 Unlimited Edition exchange, I joined the Tokyo Art Book Fair and discovered 'the good willer' during my artist talk. Their Zine-making process—sourcing, repairing, styling, and reselling local second-hand clothes—is a brilliant example of practical art. They’ve found an ideal way to balance sustainability with public engagement. Their book, 'The 아이 좋아 - Neighboring Country Friends-', is a must-read; it perfectly captures the spirit of Seoul by weaving together its unique culture and urban life.

The Goodwillerの田岡さんとは雪の降る新潟で、斉藤さんとはあるホームパーティの暗がりの中で初めて出会いました。デザイナーとアーティストの2人が行うこのプロジェクトは、セカンドハンドストアを利用した新たな循環のアイディアをユニークに軽やかに提案してくれます。プロジェクトは旅をするように世界の各所で行われていて、その土地で見つけた服を纏う2人の佇まいがかっこよくて痺れます。
I first met Taoka from The Goodwiller in snowy Niigata, and Saito in the dim light of a home party. This project, run by a designer and an artist, presents a new idea of circulation using second-hand stores in a unique and light way. The project travels around the world, taking place in different locations, and I am always struck by how cool they look wearing clothes they find in each place.

The Goodwillerの『The TOURISM PARIS ⇄ TOKYO』では、集めたアイテムを旅という時間の中で最大限活用し、チャリティーショップへタグを付けて寄付する。たとえ手元を離れてしまっても、優れたレイアウトの本として編まれれば、その本はアイテム以上の宝物になり、身軽にもなる。私はモノを集めることが好きだが、手放すのが苦手だ。増えすぎて箱の奥に押し込むこともある。The Goodwillerの活動を眺めていると、つくることで生活をポジティブに変換するヒントを教えてくれる。
In “The TOURISM PARIS ⇄ TOKYO” by The Goodwiller, they make full use of the collected items within the time of a journey, attach tags, and donate them to charity shops. Even if the items leave their hands, when they are edited into a well-designed book, the book becomes a treasure beyond the items themselves, and it also allows them to stay light. I like collecting things, but I am not good at letting them go. Sometimes I end up pushing them into the back of a box as they keep increasing. Looking at The Goodwiller’s activities, I feel they offer hints on how making can transform everyday life in a positive way.
